What is it made of?
100% woven cotton muslin, built up in six breathable layers. We don't currently hold an organic certification, so we don't claim one — if that changes, we'll say so here.
Why six layers instead of a thin single muslin?
Six layers add warmth, absorbency and a little reassuring weight while keeping muslin's breathable open weave. A single layer is better for light swaddling; this is better as an everyday pram, floor and after-bath blanket.
How do I wash it, and does it shrink?
Machine wash cold, tumble dry low, and skip fabric softener. It may shrink slightly on the first cold wash, as woven cotton does, and it softens a little more every time you wash it.
